Alfonse is a miscreant accountant who specializes in doing 'laundry'. He's also Kate & Mike's favorite pushover informant. Every time he gets a new job, they haul him in. But, he always walks—probably because he talks. Alot. Yet, somehow he manages to evade his former employers.

A new stoolie pal of Alfonse. Currently a employed as a gopher for a group calling itself 'Antonio'. He's a hard-ass, but he's too young to realize what he's gotten himself involved in—or who he's up against.

A quiet, reserved, and very talented South Side detective who also happens to be one of Kate & Mike's arch-rivals. A fan of playing by the book, he often calls the shots despite moaning and groaning from Vince. He also grew up on the South Side, so he knows what to expect from that part of town.

Ed's loudmouthed partner, while full of bravado and street-smarts, lacks Kate's intuition. Luckily, Ed usually bails him out when he gets in to trouble. Currently, he's got a score to settle with Kate in a war to see who can sneak the best 'gotcha' on the other's dry-erase without being caught.

A brilliant Medical Examiner and resident forensics expert in Kate & Mike's district. She's a no-nonsense kind of gal with a good heart, but an underdeveloped sense of humor. Because of this, she regards Kate as an accident waiting to happen, while the detective thinks Gina's a sourpuss.

This small-time gangster and gun-runner is 'Antonio's' heavy in Chinatown. He's higher up on the food chain than Frankie and totes enough firepower to prove it.

Kate and Mike’s boss. He was once a hotshot like them and he sympathizes with them once in awhile. But he recognizes some of the crap he and his partner used to pull, and on those occasions, he’s merciless.
